It achieves the appropriate gilding tack in 10-12 hours and maintains an equal duration for gilding with genuine or metal leaf. The open time for metal leaf gilding is typically shorter, in line with other oil-based sizes. Ensure a minimum curing period of one week before applying any sealant.
